Eye Movement Desensitization
Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is evidence based, and it helps you heal from traumatic or overwhelming experiences. It does not require talking in detail about the trauma or distressing issue. People can experience the benefits of psychotherapy in fewer sessions, that once took years to make a difference.
Somatic Therapy
This is a body-oriented approach to increase physical sensations and awareness, release tension, and process trauma beyond verbal therapy.
Internal Family Systems(IFS)
Informed
This approach helps map out different parts of yourself to learn about their function, role & history, in order to understand, love and heal them. This approach honors each person’s behaviors and symptoms without seeing them merely as a diagnosis or a problem to be fixed.

Mind and Body Connection
Some things don’t have words, and some things exist exclusively stored in our bodies. It’s that “automatic” thing you do in every relationship that confirms that people will leave, or that self-critical part of you that keeps you tied to a negative belief that you can’t ditch.
But I believe that there are no "bad parts" of us, just parts of us that are stuck in patterns and habits from wounds still left open.
In my practice, I start by helping you to become aware of body sensations. Not just the emotions like anxiety or sadness, but the physical sensations beneath the emotions: muscle tension, tightness, pressure, feeling hollow, and so on.
